Confab MTL and The Volume Knob are thrilled to collaborate for our annual story-meets-song event:

“The Song that Saved my Life”

We’re looking for stories that have a song as a character, a song as an ingredient in the story, one that marks the storyteller somehow – a turning point, an epiphany or the soundtrack to something unforgettable.

We’re looking for storytellers with a 6-8 minute, autobiographical story exploring this theme. Stories are told without notes, props, or gimmicks.
Whether you’re a seasoned storyteller or a nervous newbie, we offer work-shopping for ALL storytellers, to help shape your piece for the event.
