CBC Literary Prizes Presents: All Told

Fans of great stories and great radio rejoice!

CBC Literary Prizes and Confabulation — Montreal’s original monthly, all-true storytelling showcase — are joining forces! The CBC is launching a three city storytelling project called All Told — True Stories from the True North. They’ll be in Toronto, working with Raconteurs Storytelling. They’ll be in Vancouver, sharing the stage with The Flame. And they’ll be in Montreal, having a drink with Confabulation.

Join us for six stories, shared by the people that lived them. Every city has it’s own theme. For the Montreal show, we’ll be exploring the theme of Crossing the Line: stories of Deviance, Defiance, and Damning the Consequences. Expect stories of bold choices, selfishness, stepping out into the great unknown — any and all crossings of all sorts of lines, be they personal, professional, political, or moral.

Featuring stories from:
Nantali Indongo (CBC Radio, Nomadic Massive)
Matt Goldberg (Confabulation, Uncalled For)
and more

Doors open at 7pm, Show starts at 8pm

Confabulation Presents: The Shortest Story VI

It’s that time of year again!

Confabulation is ready to kick it in to high gear for one wild and frenetic evening of two-minute tales. Our mission: jam a whole slew of these little pip-squeaks into one night! Last year we managed a whopping thirty-seven stories, and this year we’re looking for a solid thirty-five. Can we do it? Well, we’ve done it before and we’ll do it again! So if you’ve got a bold and beautiful tale that can be told in 120 seconds or less, a snapshot of human existence you might say, then sign up for Confabulation Presents: The Shortest Story VI to become a part of our living scrapbook.
