Confabulation Presents: Kid Stuff

We received so many terrific submissions for our 6th anniversary show in Montreal — Now We Are Six– that we’ve decided to build on that theme, and carry on into June with an old favourite Kid Stuff — stories about the little humans we used to be and the small people we’re raising.

Kids can be such a divisive issue. You either see their smushy faces as full of joy, energy and hope, or snot, tantrums and spit-up. But regardless of how those tiny gremlins make you feel, you’ve got a story to tell about them. So send us your pitches about your kids, or being a kid, or running away from kids.

We’ll also be syncing up themes between our Montreal and Toronto shows (with a few exceptions), so join us on:

Wednesday, June 1st, 2016
Burdock Music Hall (Toronto)
Doors at 7pm, Show at 7:30pm

Saturday, June 4th, 2016 (Part of the St-Ambroise Montreal FRINGE Festival)
MainLine Theatre (Montreal)

Confabulation Montreal Presents: Now We Are Six

Wouldn’t it be magical if we could just live in The Hundred Acre Wood forever? Imagine spending your days rolling in the mud with a bear in a red polo, nibbling carrot sticks with a hoarding rabbit, or competing in a bouncing contest with a tiger that might be mechanical. But alas. Aging is inevitable, and we all have to turn six eventually.

On May 7th, 2016, Confabulation will celebrate the close of our sixth season with the theme- Now We Are Six: Stories of growing up, taking responsibilities, and looking back on the good ol’ days.

This month, we welcome: Sage Tyrtle, Nisha Coleman, Amy Preston-Samson, Vanessa Mezzaluna.
