Is it Nuit Blanche season already? It feels like just yesterday that we were cramming 37 storytellers into both of Mainline’s theatres, sharing our two-minute stories, and delighting our two crowds.
Wow. 37. That’s a lot. Can we do 40? Yes. Yes we can.
Join us on March 3rd at 8pm for our most hectic, hilarious, and high energy event of the year: The Shortest Story VIII. This year, we’re donating the profits to Head & Hands, a Montreal-based charity, which provides medical, legal, and social services to Montreal youth. Head & Hands believes that the health of our entire community rests on the health of our community’s youth. Their approach is preventative, harm reductive, non-judgmental, and holistic. Tickets are $10 and available in advance — but please consider giving a little extra at the show to this very worthy cause.
We’re still accepting storytellers — 40, apparently — so submit a pitch toute suite. Whether you’re a pro or a newcomer, The Shortest Story VIII is a great way to flex your narrative muscles.
